The SSL certificate for Microsoft Exchange

SwissSign UCC / SAN SSL certificates are specially conceived for Microsoft Exchange within Microsoft Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC). This particular type of SSL certificate allows several „Subject Alternative Names“ (SAN).

The SwissSign UCC / SAN SSL certificate

SwissSign UCC / SAN SSL certificates are issued at „Gold“ level and include the following:

1. Fully qualified domain name (FQDN): www.yourdomain.com This domain name is verified by SwissSign.

2. Block with 1-6 prefixes (sub-domains). The ending .yourdomain.com is added automatically, e.g. secure.yourdomain.com, webmail.yourdomain.com, autodiscover.yourdomain.com, etc.

3. Block with 1-6 host names. These may include hostnames from internal (not officially registered) top-level domains, but no asterisks (*) or IP-addresses. Top-level domains like .local and .ads are available. e.g. exchange, autodiscover.paris.local, dc1.ads, etc.

4. Block with 1-6 private IP-addresses (RFC 1918, IP V4 compliant), e.g. 192.168.0.15, 10.10.0.12, 172.16.0.33, etc.

The host names, internal top-level domains and private IP-addresses are not verified by SwissSign. As opposed to most certificate providers SwissSign SSL certificates may be installed on an unlimited number of virtual and physical servers.
